This is an advanced-level course designed for experienced sailors looking to further their skills in offshore sailing. This course is taught on 30’ to 50’ boats and builds upon the practical applications of Coastal Navigation and dead reckoning as well as the application of previous course material to help you develop the knowledge and confidence to responsibly skipper and crew an inboard auxiliary powered cruising sailboat for coastal or offshore passages, including strong to heavy conditions, zero visibility, and nighttime navigation in unfamiliar waters out of sight of land.
